Surf’s Up! Volkswagen Beetle

Festivals are the place to be for young people to go through different experiences. That’s why we created the ‘Beetle Wave’-festival stand, a place where true daredevils were able to try and a surf on a surfboard. As the new Volkswagen Beetle was targeted to attract a younger audience, Panama made sure to create a dynamic and fun stand, shaped like a giant wave. Whoever had the guts to try, was invited to ride the mobile surfboard. With sunglasses as giveaways and engaging photos to complete the image, a new wave of Volkswagen-fans was created. The concept turned out to be a massive hit, as it caught on tremendously. On top of that, the intended coverage was exceeded, by far!
